Ms. Persaud is the host and executive producer of Inside. She is an adjunct professor at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Graduate School of Social Work and Monmouth University Graduate School of Social Work. She teaches Spirituality and Social Work, Diversity and Oppression, Advanced Practice:Mental Health, Women's Issues and Domestic Violence. In 2008 Ms. Persaud was nominated for an Innovative & Creative Teaching Award at Rutgers and has been a lecturer and conference presenter on issues in social work. In 2010, Ms. Persaud was one of five social workers in the state of New Jersey profiled in the Star Ledger newspaper article entitled "Salute to Social Service, Social Workers who show tremendous leadership in daily lives and work". |

| She is the Senior Pastor/President of Jehovah Rapha International Church and Ministries Inc., a 501(c)(3) corporation which produces the show. Ms. Persaud is also the chairperson of the Board of Directors for Survivors Assistance Project of New Jersey. This group is committed to providing men, women and children who are survivors of sexual assault, child sexual molestation and domestic violence, a safe haven in their time of crisis, and provide the necessary tools to facilitate their recovery from the trauma they have suffered. This group promises to educate the public about the epidemic of sexual assault through community partnership forums. Ms. Persaud has a Master Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University School of Social Work and is a licensed New Jersey social worker. She has a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from Seton Hall University School of Law and is completing a Doctorate in Ministry. Ms. Persaud is a certified spiritual counselor. |

Ms. Persaud has interned with the Honorable Donald King in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division, the Honorable Alison Brown Jones in the Municipal Court of New Jersey/Essex County Public Defender's Office and has clerked with the Honorable Renee Jones Weeks in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division. |

| Valerie is the creator, executive producer and host of Jehovah-Rapha International Church and Ministries & JR Media Ministries presents "INSIDE with Valerie Persaud" The TV show and Radio show. The show airs on Comcast, Cablevision, Verizon Fios and the internet. Inside won the JAM Video Festival 2010 award for Video Excellence in a talk show. Valerie is also a producer for the television show "Access New Jersey". |
