My name is Valerie Persaud and I am a licensed social worker. I am the creator, executive producer and host of a new television show called “Inside with Valerie Persaud”. This show is under the auspices of Jehovah-Rapha International Church and Ministries, Inc. which is a 501(c ) (3) organization and JR Media Ministry. The senior pastor and most of the board of directors are social workers. The show “Inside with Valerie Persaud” airs on Cablevision, Comcast and Public Access stations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. We also upload our shows to the internet.
The purpose of Inside with Valerie Persaud the tv and radio show is to educate the public on social issues. We also highlight people in the community that are indirectly involved in social work type of activities. Thus far our shows have focused on Domestic Violence, Breast Cancer awareness, Teen Pregnancy, HIV, Divorce Mediation, Spirituality, African Americans and Mental Illness, Disability, Sexual Assault, Incest, and Drug and Alcohol Recovery. We provide resources, awareness and information.
